How it works

Start a room
Click Start a room and send people the invite link. No sign-up or download.

Only the stick holder can talk
Everyone else's mic is locked by the call itself, so nobody can unmute and talk over the speaker. Cameras and chat still work.

Ask for the stick
Click Request stick to join the queue, with a quick note about what you'd like to say if you want.

Pass it on
When they're done, the speaker clicks Pass stick. The next person in the queue is picked for them, or they can choose anyone.
Need more than one voice at a time? The host (whoever started the room) can hand out up to 5 sticks, so a few people can talk at once. If a speaker leaves, anyone can pick up their stick. The host can also take a stick back at any time or remove someone who's being disruptive.

Muting that can't be skipped
The call server only lets the stick holder send audio. Nobody can unmute themselves to talk over the speaker.
A fair queue
Requests line up in order, so quieter people get their turn and the speaker can see who's waiting.

React and add thoughts in the chat without interrupting. Every handoff is noted there too.
